A European Countryside-Inspired Late Summer Wedding at Hill Farm Inn in Sunderland, Vermont
Maddy and Tucker celebrated their wedding at Hill Farm Inn in Sunderland, Vermont, a place that had been part of their visits to Vermont for years and was owned by family friends. The weekend was surrounded by the lush landscape of southern Vermont, with an unmistakable European countryside charm brought to life through thoughtful design and incredible florals by Erin Ostreicher along with the stellar coordination support by Carly from Daisy Mae.
There was a warmth to the whole gathering, with family and friends settling in for a weekend of celebrating. Dinner was served beneath a tent outdoors, where candlelight, wine, and laughter carried on well into the darkness. Later, everyone made their way into the barn, a modern restaurant space that became the setting for dancing.
And then there were the llamas. They weren't exactly part of the wedding, but they were part of the place, and an important part of Maddy's memories of Hill Farm Inn. She remembered visiting over the years and spending time with them, making their presence on the property one more little connection to the history she and Tucker shared with the inn.
A late summer celebration full of beautiful details, old memories, good wine, and the kind of evening you wish would last a little longer.
